Liberty Homes of Leland, North Carolina, has designed and constructed a beautiful model home that features an ActivWall Gas Strut Window. The Duval is a four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath, 3,443 square foot home. The white farmhouse has an urban vibe, perfectly blending timeless and modern features.
Jonas Marston of Liberty Homes chose a 60″ wide by 48″ high ActivWall Gas Strut Window to connect the kitchen to an outdoor sitting area. The window opens up and out 90 degrees on gas struts to create a serving area.
It is perfectly positioned in the kitchen to allow conversation, serve guests’ beverages, and pass through smores ingredients to take out to the nearby fire pit.
The energy-efficient window is constructed of thermally broken aluminum and insulated glass. It is finished in jet black powder-coat to coordinate with other windows on the home and has a saddle sill to protect against the elements.
This thoughtfully designed home is a Diamond Award winner for the 2021 Brunswick County Parade of Homes, hosted by the Brunswick County Homebuilders Association and Silver Award Winner in the Cape Fear Parade of Homes.
The model home will be open for tours during the Brunswick County Parade of Homes on October 22-24, 2021.
