Football season is back, fall weather is around the corner, and this new kitchen design couldn’t be more appropriate to combine indoor and outdoor spaces for entertaining on game day. F2 Construction of Charlotte, North Carolina, collaborated with Dipped Interiors on a home transformation loaded with many great features.

According to the homeowner, Amber, “When designing our new kitchen, the functionality was most important to us.” The renovation included a new layout with a massive island to enhance flow and add counter seating for four. Designers planned an ActivWall Gas Strut Window over the kitchen sink to create a pass-through serving bar connecting to the covered porch and adding more seating outside. “We entertain a lot and also have three young children, so the ActivWall Gas Strut Window was the perfect option for us. It allows us to easily entertain both indoors and outdoors and to watch the kids when they are playing in the backyard.”
