Covered Porch in California

Covered Porch with Gas Strut Window

The owners of this home in Whittier, California, love entertaining guests by the pool, so when they renovated their space, they added an ActivWall Gas Strut Window to connect the kitchen and covered porch.

The back porch of this home has an outdoor dining area and a living area overlooking the pool. Creating a convenient pass-through to the kitchen makes entertaining simple and fun. The window opens on sturdy struts to create a serving window that doubles as bar seating.

The custom window measures 71.5″ wide by 49.5″ high. It features insulated glass in a thermally broken aluminum frame with a black anodized finish.

The owners chose the No Sill option, one of many customization options available, to create a seamless countertop.

ActivWall Gas Strut Windows are available for both commercial and residential use. Click the button below to request a quote for your unique space.
