Indoor Pool Upgrade

Nestled on the shores of Virginia’s picturesque Smith Mountain Lake, this stunning residence features an enclosed pool. Originally encased in fixed glass windows, the pool area underwent a transformative upgrade when the owners opted to remove a wall and install a bi-fold door system. 

To fulfill this vision, we crafted an ActivWall Folding Door tailored to the client’s specifications. This impressive five-panel door spans 176 inches in width and stands 108 inches tall. It is configured in a 1L-4R outswing layout, which features a swing door that can be operated independently. Constructed from thermally broken aluminum and insulated glass, the doors ensure optimal energy efficiency, maintaining a comfortable environment within the pool room even during the winter months.

Come summer, the doors fold away effortlessly, creating a seamless flow between the interior and the outdoor entertaining spaces, perfect for hosting guests and enjoying the lakefront ambiance.
