For a custom three-level home overlooking the lake in Mount Vernon, Washington, the best view is meant to be experienced, not just admired through glass.

Built by Fullwiler Construction, the home features a 120″ x 48″ ActivWall Gas Strut Window on the lower level, opening toward the lake and dock. The oversized outswing window creates a dramatic connection to the waterfront, bringing fresh air, expansive views, and a convenient serving bar for indoor-outdoor living.

The custom window is designed to complement the home’s modern aesthetic while delivering the performance needed in the Pacific Northwest. A raised saddle sill provides maximum air and water protection, making it especially well suited to the region’s climate. It is finished in black powder coat with an added nailing flange for easy installation. 

The owner also selected a 60″ pull hook for easy closing from the interior and a kickstand for partial opening capability. Whether opened wide to embrace the lakefront setting and used for serving, or partially opened for a little fresh air, the window offers flexibility for everyday living.
