When Dan and his team at Country Creek Builders in Lakeville, Minnesota, set out to reimagine this kitchen, their goal was simple — to create the ultimate space for entertaining. The result is a bright, functional, and luxurious kitchen that brings family and friends together with effortless flow between indoors and out.

A Kitchen Built for Gatherings
This transformation centers on the connection between guests, between spaces, and between beautiful design elements. The newly expanded kitchen now features a full wet bar complete with a sink, beverage fridge, and ice maker, making it the perfect spot to serve cocktails and appetizers during gatherings.

The centerpiece of the new design is an ActivWall Gas Strut Window, measuring 72″ x 60″ and finished in a crisp white powder coat. Installed above the new bar area, the window opens up to the home’s deck where a grill and seating area await, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor experience. With a flush sill, kickstand, and a 36″ pull hook, this window is as practical as it is elegant, and it effortlessly transforms the kitchen into a social hub for any event.

Thoughtful Design and Custom Details
Every inch of this space was carefully considered. The remodel includes a larger island featuring painted and maple shaker-style cabinetry, high-end appliances from All Inc., and layered LED accent and under-cabinet lighting to set the perfect ambiance. Custom touches, such as CNC-machined toe-kick registers and an appliance garage, add polish and sophistication.
