Lowcountry Style Home

Charleston Custom Home with ActivWall Gas Strut Window in Screened Porch

For some design inspiration with a Lowcountry feel, check out this custom home on Sullivan’s Island, as featured in Charleston Home + Design Magazine.

The custom ActivWall Gas Strut Window that connects the kitchen and screened porch creates a stylish and functional indoor-outdoor entertaining space.

The unit measures 96″ wide by 60″ high and is finished in a white powder coat with an additional coastal finish to protect the unit from salty sea breezes. The Gas Strut Window has simulated divided lites (SDL) to coordinate with other windows and doors in the house.

The window opens on study struts to create a serving bar and a convenient pass-through for grilling and entertaining.

For added peace of mind, ActivWall products are impact tested for safety in hurricane zones and include a 10-year residential warranty.

ActivWall Gas Strut Windows are available for commercial or residential use. Click the button below to request a quote for your unique space.
