Michigan Pool Cabana

When the owners of this Michigan home renovated to add a cabana facing their pool, they included three ActivWall products in the design plan. The two Gas Strut Windows and a Folding Door all work together in their space to add function, style, and wow factor.

Renaissance Exteriors & Remodeling of Grand Rapids, Michigan led the renovation effort and they are an authorized ActivWall Dealer for their region.

The serving area of the cabana has a pair of 60″ wide x 47″ high Gas Strut Windows that open up and out to create a pass-through window and serving bar. One window faces the grilling area, and the other window faces the pool and outdoor lounge area. The Gas Strut Windows can be closed from the outside with a firm push or from the inside with the optional ActivWall Pull Hook.

The three-panel folding door measures 108″ wide by 84″ high and opens up fully to connect the indoor and outdoor spaces for entertaining and enjoying views of the pool. The end panel can also be used as a single swing door for daily use.

All three units are finished in a jet black powder coat finish to coordinate with the home’s existing windows. ActivWall offers six different sill options for various climates and this customer chose the raised-saddle sill for extra protection in cold Michigan winters.
