Wood Horizontal Folding Doors at a Golf Center

Located in Northern Virginia horse country, Creighton Farms is a premier private club community that offers sports, recreation, wellness – and the pursuit of happiness. 

The club features an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course and a state-of-the-art teaching and golf training center called The Stable.

ActivWall was invited to produce three unique Folding Doors for The Stable. These handcrafted wooden units were designed to resemble barn doors. They face the club’s driving range, and the doors to the heated bays can be opened up for indoor-outdoor all-season hitting. 

The project consists of two larger doors measuring 16′ wide by 12.5′ high and a smaller 8′ wide by 12.5′ high door. Sapele wood was used, which is one of many wood options available for ActivWall products. The system features American-engineered hinges and motion hardware for smooth operation.

In May 2022, The Stable was named one of the Best Golf Schools & Academies in the nation by Golf Digest.

In January 2023, the project was named one of the Top Spa and Fitness Center Designs by Mortarr.
