Walker Hotel Tribeca in NYC

Located within a short walk of Chinatown, Little Italy, and One World Trade Center, the Walker Hotel Tribeca offers 171 luxury accommodations and elegant meeting spaces.

ActivWall custom-built a 150″ wide by 86″ high five-panel wood-clad Horizontal Folding Door for this property to connect adjacent meeting rooms.

The doors are made with engineered walnut stiles and rails and engineered panels that match other wood fixtures used throughout the hotel.

The handles and hinges are finished in dark bronze also to match the surrounding accents. This unit uses a U-Channel sill on the floor for smooth gliding.

The unit can be closed to create two small meeting spaces or opened up as a large continuous space. Panels on either end of the unit are swing doors to allow passage between the two rooms when divided.

This wood ActivWall Horizontal Folding Door with frosted glass was installed at the Center Club, inside the Transamerica Tower in Baltimore, Maryland. The Center Club is a private club that is ranked among the top 5% in the country and has been named a Top 100 City Club of the World.

The club’s location is on the 16th floor, which overlooks Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. The eight-panel folding door measures 23′ wide by 8′ 11″ high and partitions off the ballroom/dining area from the Center Club’s lobby.

The versatile door allows for a private room or an open space as this room is used for conferences, mitzvahs, and receptions, in addition to many more special events.

The center-folding unit is painted to match the room’s aesthetic and provide consistency between the Center Club rooms. Besides being a beautiful space, the integrated brass panic hardware in the folding door meets the club’s functionality requirements.
