Located in Bellingham, Washington, the Lorikeet Bar is known for amazing daiquiris and cocktails, fresh ceviche, delicious tacos, and more.
The restaurant is home to two ActivWall Gas Strut Windows. One unit on the main level was installed in 2021, and they installed a second unit on the upper floor in 2022.
This innovative product opens up and out on sturdy struts to create a serving bar and pass-through window. The Gas Strut Windows are mounted over a bar top, and long benches allow guests to sit at the windows to enjoy food and drinks while conversing with new friends at the Lorikeet.
When closed, the window provides maximum energy efficiency with a thermally-broken aluminum frame, insulated glass, and quality seals.
In addition to delicious food, the Lorikeet Bar hosts regular Art Markets throughout the year where local artisans come to showcase and sell their goods.
ActivWall Gas Strut Windows are made for both commercial and residential use. Click the link below to request a quote for your unique project.
For Halloween 2022, the Lorikeet Bar transformed their entire restaurant into Spooky Island from the Scooby Doo movie for a festive and tropical Halloween look. A glass artist used special glass paints to decorate the window with Shaggy and Scooby.
