Brooklyn Kitchen Remodel

When the owners of this 1901 Brooklyn brown stone renovated their kitchen they worked with designers to plan a modern and light-filled space.

The design called for a wall of windows with a door leading to a newly constructed back deck. We custom-built three Gas Strut Windows and a Swing Door to complete this vision.

The panel of Gas Strut Windows measures 11′ wide and 5′ high. Each window opens independently to provide fresh air and allow food to be passed out to the deck.

The thermally broken aluminum frame for this system is finished in a black powder coat finish that adds contrast to the white tile in the modern kitchen.

The kitchen also features Crown Point, inset cabinetry construction with a mix of Pure White baked-on paint finish and Clear Natural Walnut, as an accent for the doors and floating shelves. The interior drawers and cabinet boxes are also Natural Walnut.
